Terms & Conditions

Draft pending completion of Bytewise registration details and review by a qualified legal adviser.

These Terms govern your use of the SpoolBoard website and application operated by Bytewise Solutions.

1. The Service

SpoolBoard is a subscription planning, costing and inventory tool for 3D-printer owners. We provide it on a best-efforts basis and may update features over time.

2. Subscriptions & billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe: Maker at £3.99/month (inc. UK VAT) or $5.99/month (plus US sales tax) and Company from £25/$34.99/month. An optional 14-day free trial may be offered without a card. Prices above the Maker entry price are indicative and set by Bytewise.

3. Renewals, cancellation & refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled via the Stripe customer portal. On cancellation you retain access until the end of the paid period; data is kept for a limited period (default 30 days) before archival. Statutory cancellation and refund rights apply where relevant.

4. Access & account status

Active and trialing accounts have full access. If a payment fails, the account becomes read-only during a grace window before being locked to billing. Cancelled accounts can sign in but are limited to billing until reactivated.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, upload malicious files, attempt to breach account isolation, or exceed the abuse/rate limits. Uploaded .gcode.3mf files must comply with our Acceptable Use rules. See the Privacy and Cookie policies for data handling.

6. Intellectual property & your data

You retain ownership of the content you enter. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and operate the Service for you. SpoolBoard and the Bytewise brand remain our property.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited; nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, with additional consumer provisions applying to US customers where required.
